ANCHORAGE, Alaska July 7, 2016 - Brian Boguno, Parking Director at EasyPark, has recently been certified as a Parking Professional by The National Parking Association. In earning this credential, he adds the initials “CPP” after his name.
Mr. Borguno is a Graduate with Distinction from University of Michigan-Dearborn obtaining a Bachelor in Arts degree with an emphasis of Economics, Communications and Film. Mr. Borguno is responsible for the parking services departments of EasyPark which includes Customer Service, Parking Services Representatives, Dispatch, Parking Enforcement, and Maintenance.
Before joining ACDA, Mr. Borguno worked as the Operations Manager for Park Cedar Rapids in Iowa. During this time, downtown Cedar Rapids was experiencing economic redevelopment due to flood recovery efforts stemming from a 2008 flood which included the rebuilding of the parking system. While at Park Cedar Rapids, he oversaw the day to day operations of enforcement, meter collections, facility maintenance, security, administrative, special events, and implemented new parking technologies to help reconstruct the parking operation.
CPP’s credential sets the standard in training and education for the parking industry by highlighting leadership and management skills. Those who have passed this exam have proven their skills and knowledge of parking best practices.
