UAA Athletics Becomes a Part of Downtown Anchorage
EasyPark Parking Safety Officers Support Seawolf Saturday
Anchorage, AK – December 11, 2018
EasyPark and the University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics department are partnering up to celebrate “Seawolf Saturday” (game day) and connect University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) to downtown Anchorage.
This partnership aligns the core values of the Seawolf Athletics department and Anchorage Community Development Authority (ACDA) in demonstrating their shared commitment to engage the Anchorage community.
“We are very excited about the collaboration with the UAA Seawolf team and to promote our local university,” said Brian Borguno, Parking Director for EasyPark.
“UAA Athletics is excited to write a new, amazing story with ACDA.  This collaboration will allow for future opportunities to grow Seawolf Athletics’ visibility in Downtown Anchorage,” said Tanya Pont, UAA Associate Athletic Director for Development.
Be on the lookout for EasyPark Parking Safety Officers (PSO’s) wearing yellow safety vests with the UAA logo that promotes “Seawolf Saturday.”  The EasyPark PSO team will be handing out game day vouchers that will allow you to attend a season home game. The PSO staff will be distributing the UAA vouchers thru the month of February 2019.
ACDA will continue to promote the value of the UAA Athletics department in downtown Anchorage. For more up to date information about this collaboration, be sure to follow EasyPark’s and UAA Athletics Facebook pages.
