EPA, Anchorage City Officials to Tour Downtown Brownfields Site, Highlight Funding Partnership

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Municipality of Anchorage will tour the D Street corridor to highlight a $1 million brownfields grant investment from the EPA for the assessment and clean-up of environmental contaminants.

The EPA investment will support Anchorage’s D Street Area Wide Plan. Grant funds will be used to conduct assessment, cleanup, and community engagement activities.
