Steps taken against COVID-19 & Assisting with Economic Impact
Due to the health concerns of COVID-19, Anchorage Community Development Authority (ACDA) has taken the following steps effective March 17, 2020 to ensure the safety of its staff and the general public:
  • EasyPark and ACDA customer lobbies will be closed down until further notice.
  • EasyPark will temporarily stop the Amenities program (escorts, tire fill, & battery jumps).
ACDA recognizes that there will be financial impact on the businesses and workers in downtown Anchorage. All late parking citation fees will be paused until May 1, 2020.
“During this time, staff resources will be used daily to wipe surfaces down at all our facilities and equipment in order to follow the CDC’s recommendations of cleaning,” said Parking Director, Demetric Tuggle.
As a reminder, EasyPark offers the following options to conduct regular business:
Lastly, EasyPark will create temporary pick up areas for food pick up service at the street parking meters for restaurants that will remain open. If you are a restaurant and are interested in this temporary parking service, please contact Customer Service at 276-7275 or info@easyparkalaska.com.
